Breakfast at Tiffany’s inspired

Hi guys,

How are you?

Today I am beyond excited to share with you pictures from another photo shoot with Dorota from Dorann Photography https://www.facebook.com/dorann.photography/

This is an incredible memory from when I was 25 weeks pregnant. The photo shoot was inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s and we had so much fun that day. As per usual Dorota captured everything beautifully and made me feel amazing. I didn’t want to wear an exact copy of what Audrey Hepburn wore as Holly. I kind of looked at all the outfits throughout the movie and put together one that felt like me.

I loved this classic look for a day I must say. All black is not something I’d wear every day but sometimes it is just pure elegance.

I know a lot of ladies wish they knew what type of style they are (there is many super fun ways to find out) as they would like to feel consistent in their style but I must say, over time I realised I am a mixture of classic (usually for special occasions), I love a bit of a rock chick, sometimes a dose of a whimsical girl and even sporty… . Trying to put myself in a box of just one type will never work for me as I am having way to much fun trying new things out and mixing things up.

Today, by sharing these pictures, I hope you get inspired to try something new too or dress up a little more than you normally would.

In the words of a great Coco Chanel,‘Every day is a fashion show and the world is your runway.’ So have some fun even if it means being overdressed a little. I always feel better when I like my outfit 😉

Thanks to Dorota, that day I literary felt like on a runway. I didn’t care about people watching (in fact, most people were smiling and there is nothing quite like a smile exchanged with a stranger).

Key to sexy while pregnant

Hi there,

Hope you are having an awesome summer week. I have been enjoying this week just as much as the previous. The weather has really been spoiling us and I am actually grateful for some clouds and wind every once in a while. Pregnancy while hot has its challenge. Especially when you’re into your 3rd trimester.

One of the challenges is choosing outfits that accommodate the big bump while still feeling stylish but most importantly comfortable.

Today I want to share with you couple of dresses I picked from https://femmeluxefinery.co.uk/

I was offered few pieces to review. I will be honest with you. I haven’t heard about the brand before and wasn’t sure if any of their items would work for me. Models on their page are nothing like my body ( I have never had a defined waistline, especially not now ;)) But I decided to approach it with an open mind…. and I realised after receiving the goodies that this is the KEY to finding things you love – OPEN MIND. Even for me, a stylist who knows what works and what doesn’t work for my body type… I need to keep my mind and eye open and keep trying new things, especially while my body goes though a ‘little’ revolution.

I must say, once I received the clothes (2 day, love a quick delivery), I was pretty worried that even though I have chosen a stretchy fabric, the dresses weren’t going to fit. To my surprise they do, it is not a style I would probably think to go for at the moment, but I LOVE THEM. They made me look at myself a little differently and see a different site to Gosia, the one I haven’t felt for a while. So thanks so much FEMME LUXE for bringing my sexy back. Nothing wrong with feeling this way even while preggo, right?

What are your thought guys? Yay or Nay? Share your views?

First one can be found here https://femmeluxefinery.co.uk/collections/maxi-dresses/products/black-one-shoulder-maxi-dress-opal

It comes in three different colours and last time I checked, was on sale. I will definitely love it some time post pregnancy too ;))

The second one can be found here https://femmeluxefinery.co.uk/collections/view-all-dresses/products/white-bardot-knitted-mini-dress-carmen

At the moment it is super mini for me so I will be adding jeans to it on a colder day and wearing it as a sexy sweater. Super versatile and feels lovely against the skin.

Key to Her Evening Style

This one goes out to all of us. We all dream of the red carpet scenario at some point or another. Turns out we all deserve it and it can be done without thousands of dollars or celebrity status.

I feel so grateful to have been a part of the project that took place last week between myself, amazing photographers from Foton Artisic Society, amazing make up artist Gosia Targonska and our model Kama Szczesna.

I have met Kama about a week prior to the photo shoot in order to get to know her and find out a little about her. I don’t believe in styling anyone without getting to know them first. We needed to find out what is it that she does and does not like. What is her skin tone, her body shape. I ask a lot of questions that may seem irrelevant at times but it all always falls into place in the end.

We went through her wardrobe and found few amazing pieces she owns. My only concern was that most of them were black and I needed to make sure we add a bit of colour to it in order to make her sparkle.

Yes, we were getting ready for an amazing project but I wanted to make sure that she takes something away for more than just one night.

I was over the moon when she send me some pictures of new pieces she now bought with flattering colors in mind. What a transformation. When I first met her she was wearing nothing but black and 80 % of her wardrobe was filled by black pieces.

When she arrived for a photo shoot, the only black piece she was wearing was a great hat. AMAZING!

Now, about the big day. I am so thrilled to be sharing these amazing pictures with you (would not be possible without guys and girls from Foton Artistic Society).

The first one was the glam evening outfit. Perfect for a ball room New Year’s celebration or other fancy occasion. It is amazing to see what happens with a women when she raps herself in a fur over a flattering LBD with an amazing statement sparkle and a touch of red lip and matching red nails. Classic and absolutely stunning.

The other styling from the night that I want to share with you is a little edgy combination of an evening sexy look with a touch of colour. Kama has quite a few incredible pencil skirts but I wanted to add something other than a black top or a crispy white shirt. She also owns an amazing leopard bodysuit that worked great under this beautiful true blue blouse that I added. I wanted a blue accent on her face too. We were so lucky to be working with very talented make up artist that created two separate looks for each of the styling. The leopard print under the blouse worked great with the gold jewels. I layered couple of necklaces for that one too and we added multiple bangles on one arm. This look would not be complete without the killer heels. I love these Kurt Geiger’s heels. Her legs seem to be going on forever and I love the slightly messy hair style. She told me when we met that she wanted to try something sexy and maybe a little provocative. I feel that we managed to accomplish that without crossing the line. What a transformation. I feel so blessed to have been there to witness that.
